European Commission’s Innovation Award
At LAPUP, we welcome with great joy, honor, and pride the awarding of the European Commission’s prize to the Early Warning System for Mosquito-Borne Diseases (EYWA). EYWA was co-developed by the BEYOND Center of Excellence, the company ECODEV, and LAPUP, with the support of twelve other organizations as well. LAPUP took an active part in the design, development, and operation of EYWA—especially in the component focused on early forecasting of climate-sensitive epidemics.
